7 face corruption charges in connection with former Harrison EMS

AG: Harrison Twp. EMS funds misspent.

An investigation by the Ohio Attorney General's Office into a half-million dollars of misspent Harrison Township Emergency Medical Services funds led to the arrest of seven Muskingum County residents on Thursday.
Each of the individuals charged in a pattern of corruption served on the board of the Harrison Township EMS at some point between 2008 and 2012, and the money was intended for the squad, said Kate Hansen, the attorney general's spokeswoman.
