Imran threatens to shut down Islamabad after Muharram.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has threatened to shut Islamabad and not the Nawaz Sharif government to function after Muharram if the prime minister did not present himself for accountability on account of the offshore companies.

"Nawaz Sharif’s corruption and money-laundering is an open-and-shut case. If the institutions failed to take any action against him, we will shut down Islamabad after Muharram,” he said while addressing a large public meeting at Adda Plot on Friday night.

Imran declared the event as the last public meeting against the prime minister and that he would no more hold any rallies against him but make a decisive move.

He said it was Sharif’s end now. He asked his party workers and supporters to make preparations for shutting down Islamabad. "I will shut down and come what may; I will never accept the destruction of Pakistan under this dacoit.”
